Every situation is different. But by following the five stages below, we can make sure we carry out the right works to achieve the results you’re looking for.

We’ll complete a full site survey.

We’ll always start the process with a site survey. We can only understand your unique situation and advise you on the most suitable tested and certified fire stopping products for your building once we have visited your premises and identified the areas that need to be addressed.

We are partnered with Onetrace and we use their Fire Stopping App to record all our observations and make product recommendations as we are making our way around the premises. If possible, we ask that you provide us with a compartmentation layout, so we have an idea of what to expect on the day.

We will also take a series of ‘before’ photos, which will be included in the report supplied at the proposal stage.

The price of your fire stopping survey will depend on the size of your building and the number of breaches to be observed.

We’ll submit our proposal.

Once we have collected everything we need from our site visit, we will send you a detailed proposal that includes ‘before’ photos, our proposed scope of work, and a list of all the tested and certified fire stopping products we plan to use within the installation.

We’ll complete the works.

Once you have agreed to our works and a PO has been submitted, a dedicated project manager will be assigned to your project, who will create a project plan and share this with you for approval.

We’ll always produce and issue detailed building RAMS, so all our technicians have access to a safe working guide for the project.

Finally, our trained technicians will attend your site at the agreed time to complete the fire stopping installations or fire stopping repairs.

We’ll record all works.

It’s best practice to record all works for future reference, the ‘Golden Thread’. We will record each firestop installation with a unique reference using the Onetrace Fire Stopping App.

We’ll issue a comprehensive e-report.

Following the completion of the works, we will provide you with an electronic report so anyone working in or on the building can see what has been done. The document will contain:

• Site address

• Job number

• Dates

• Before and after photos

• Unique references

• Breach details

• Layout drawings

• Locations

• Products used

• Fire ratings

• Technicians details
